Understanding competition, comparing markets – the smart benchmark solution from BITS
In this project for the automotive sector, a powerful web application was developed that enables companies to systematically collect, analyze and compare competitive information.
By integrating various data sources, an intuitive user interface and automated analysis processes, the platform ensures efficient use and provides in-depth insights into the market positioning and technical solutions of the competition. In addition, particular emphasis was placed on scalability and future-proofing to ensure long-term use.

The development of such a complex application presented several challenges:
Realization
In this project, BITS was responsible for IT project management, architecture planning, software development and the integration and optimization of the database. The aim was to develop a powerful, scalable and user-friendly platform that would enable companies in the automotive sector to efficiently analyze the competition.
For the backend, Java was chosen in combination with Hibernate to ensure high-performance and secure data processing. The robust architecture ensures efficient management of the extensive and complex data structures required for the analyses.
Oracle DB was used as the database solution to enable reliable storage and fast retrieval of large volumes of data. Thanks to the optimized database structure, information from various sources can be efficiently integrated and analysed.
The front end was developed using Angular to provide a modern, interactive and responsive user interface. Intuitive navigation was particularly important, allowing users to access relevant information quickly and easily despite complex analyses and large amounts of data.
In addition, a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline was implemented to ensure continuous development and high software quality. Automated tests and regular updates ensure a stable and reliable platform that can be flexibly adapted to new requirements.
The combination of these modern technologies has resulted in a future-proof solution that not only enables powerful competitive analysis, but is also extremely user-friendly and scalable.

This web application is an innovative solution that enables companies in the automotive industry to conduct in-depth competitive analysis. The intelligent data integration, automated evaluations and modern UI ensure high efficiency and long-term use.
