Digital transformation: Increasing the efficiency of a medium-sized company through process consulting and system optimization of an IT system landscape that has grown over the years
Our project managers and consultants thoroughly analyzed the system landscape of a medium-sized company that had grown over the years. This was followed by comprehensive advice on digitalization and process optimization in order to sustainably increase efficiency and collaboration within the company. The main focus was on providing comprehensive support to the customer with a holistic view of the business and processes.

Challenge
The analysis of the fragmented system landscape included a detailed examination of the existing IT infrastructure and processes. The aim was to identify weak points and create a basis for digitalization and process optimization. Our team worked closely with all departments to understand their specific requirements and develop customized solutions. To achieve this, a comprehensive approach was chosen that included the analysis of systems and processes and the subsequent digitalization and standardization of processes.
First, the company’s fragmented process landscape, which consisted of many individually developed solutions, had to be analyzed and optimization approaches identified. The introduction of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) has improved process documentation and driven forward process standardization.

The project was successfully implemented in several phases:

The implementation of the new CRM and ERP system began with the detailed planning and preparation of the system integration. This included planning the migration of the existing data and training the key users to ensure a seamless transition. The challenges lay in particular in the complexity of system integration and ensuring user acceptance.
